Dears,

Just to warn y'all - NoLimitDrones.com does not support Mavic Air nor does the NLD Go app, regardless the version you try to patch, you can't select Mavic Air.
Although I knew little to no adjustments could have been made to Mavic Air, all I cared about is the FCC because the range of the Mavic Air is really bad on the 2.4Ghz ECC which the patched app can solve by switching to FCC 5.8Ghz.
Well, to my surprise, after installing the patched app... Mavic Air can't be selected at all. I've tried various versions that are there to be patched, but without luck.

So in case you would be just as stupid as I wanting to spend 35 euro for the app only, don't do it. This is nothing against NLD - I was very happy with them using it with my Spark - but the way they present it now is misleading information and basically you spend 35 euro for nothing. (actually 38 euro because you pay another 3 euro for paypal use).

Greetings and happy flying

Stepan

I have looked several times Kidrock - they were clearly stating that the app supports Mavic Air and allows FCC mode.... and this was not the case. So before you make a comment like that without further added value, think twice...

Other then that, NLD gave me my money back - because in case of Mavic Air it really adds NO feature at all, they could just as well take it off the list until they have changed things.

Hi, to do an FCC Hack with Mavic Air 1 is really simple if you have an Android device. Even without one, you can just borrow one as its temporary.

First install a GPS faker app on Android, make sure to allow mock GPS location in the Developer settings of the phone.

Then start the fake gps app in your phone, double checkand make sure you are set to a FCC location like USA.

Next, start the DJI Go4 app and connect to your remote, and connect to your drone.

The fly app will prompt you to "set Wifi / connections settings respective to the region / location" or something.

Just click yes. In your transmission page you should see only 11 channels for 2.4G.

That means you are in FCC mode.

After that you can use any device to fly your Mavic Air 1 and remember NOT to allow the app to set your transmission power according to region anymore (Just ignore the prompt).

Thank you, I'll try that :)

They do mislead, lie, cheat and steal., and when called our they.. They call people liars, then don't let you respond, then ban you, so their lie about you sits online and you can't take it down. They are little babies. Even though you were happy with spark, there are programs and firmware to to that for free, not saying you shouldn't have purchased a license for spark, but a little research online and people explain how to do it free...plus you don't need to be logged into them to change settings...as NLD makes you. Like when they have their lawyer contact me and I sue them, how will they pay for there server to be online?
