No-fly zone for Hogmanay street party

I'm wondering how exactly they're going to police this outside the city centre, most of the cops on duty will be in Princes Street ???

It will likely be a standard TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) enforced via NFZ database/software. DJI (and similar) drones/software will adhere to this (if unmodified) by refusing to takeoff inside or fly into the NFZ. Less advanced drones will have limited range in comparison and will be easier for police to track back to the operator.

At least, in theory.
