Yes it is a common bug, there are a couple other posts on it.

Solution, get a better router than can adjust the channels automatically. . Seriously though these seem to be a problem with older routers that don't gracefully deal with conflicting frequencies and interference. I have a dual band router and none of the bands deteriorate with the Mavic powered on, however it does zap my transmission range on the RC and Mavic somewhat.
