Hello, I'm going to be the future owner of a Mavic Air 2 and figured this place would be the best place to start. Looking forward to flying, even though I live in a pretty flat area. Hopefully I can get some good info from here.

Definitely, I won't post a new topic unless the search isn't yielding the results I'm looking for. One of my pet-peeves is multiple threads for the same questions. It makes searching a little more difficult.

Welcome to the forums - a lot of good info here. Also, the search function (magnifying glass icon upper right) is a great way to find answers to many of the questions a "newbie" will have. We were all "newbies" at one point.

Be sure you practice using the “Find My Drone” App. Chances are you’ll crash, and perhaps lose your MA2). Just be sure you know how to retrieve it!

Thanks, I'm actually interested in the tracking feature, but I don't think it'll suit what I'm considering it for. I'd like to find an empty parking lot to film myself driving around in an opened parking lot. My guess is that driving while trying to control a drone may be frowned upon, but those are the types of things I'm hoping to learn from this forum. Still waiting for mine to ship. Got the fly more package for a little over $860.
