Is flying in OKC legal? Which places am I not allowed to fly? I'll be visiting next week but keep reading contradicting articles of whether or not I can fly there.

That is cool, I'm in McAlester, OK. I get up that way a lot in the summer, riding my motorcycle.

New Oklahoma City flyer here. So far, the only local prohibition I have found is the Myriad Gardens downtown, where you must request permission in advance and schedule your flight time with their administration.

In addition, Oklahoma has laws preventing flights close to or over vital infrastructure, such as electrical stations, water towers, etc.

So far, I‘ve not found any other restrictions in excess of FAA requirements.
