Northampton, MA Resolution On Drone Aircraft

Was a Look Park in Florence, MA and inquired about flying within the park. Lady I spoke with indicated ti was ok but attached is Northampton's Resolution On Drone Aircraft. It's over 6 years old. Has anyone from that area flown and if so, any problems ?

There's nothing remotely enforceable in that resolution, just some political hay-making. Furthermore, it references only "landowners subject to state laws and ordinances", which would seem to exclude public property (especially considering the concerns voiced in the document). If the person you spoke with gave you a verbal OK, I wouldn't worry. Even so, it might be prudent to get her name, so that you can say, "Shirley at the city office told me it's OK; here, have a look at what the drone sees!" That can ratchet down any simmering hostility, and possibly even win you a convert!
