We had similar conditions in S.W. Ohio - 25-35 mph with 40-50 mph gusts. I wanted to test the 45 mph wind rating on the M2P. We have a huge field, like 1/2 mile long and 300 yards wide in a slight valley where the RC airplane guys fly. And a windsock.

The M2P will hold 45 mph, but not much more. Full pitch forward in sport mode and the drone moving backwards is an interesting sensation. I flew one battery: with the unpredictable gusts, and the shifting wind direction in the valley, I had had enough.

It was a good illustration though of coming down to get out of the wind. I did not get the +45 gusts below about 100 feet.

It was pretty gutsy flying a nice machine like that in those wins.? I’m glad you got it safely back.
