VERY high KP through Friday - Does everyone everywhere get these same conditions? Do you plan to fly regardless?

If it wasn’t so wet and windy I’d be out looking for some dark skies to try some hyperlapses of the auroras that are the cause of the high Kp. As it is, the rain is more of a risk.

Here in north bay area CA, Airdata UAV app shows highest kp 4.67 today. Wednesday kp 3 Thursday thru Saturday shows kp 0. None the less, it is my understanding that even high kp likely will not affect DJI drones.

I was able to get 19 satellites last night (San Jose CA area). I was hovering at 3' and at 5 seconds it dropped to 17 and I got a GPS warning. At 6 seconds was up to 20 sats so I flew. Went as high as 230' but never saw any auroras unfortunately. Most of my flight was at 29/30 sats.

For over 10 years I've been hearing reports of potential problems for drone flying in high Kp events.
But I still haven't seen a single case of an incident that could be attributed to the high Kp.
I have flown as often as I could during high Kp events and a couple of months back, flew several flights in the highest I've seen - Kp 9.

The drone and a handheld GPS acted 100% normally.
I continue search for any evidence of actual impacts rather than tales of potential impacts.

Never seen a problem with high KP.
Seems to be another tale to tell your grandkids. "I just few in the highest KP ever kids." all the non believers will just say don't fly but I did.
