Flying Near Immigrant Detention Center

So, as it relates to this thread, the OP was asking about what the community thought about his planned flight. To warn the OP about how federal law enforcement is behaving these past months (which is public knowledge) is fine. But assigning blame to the admin that is facilitating that behavior is off limits?
Correct. We all know it'll lead to a political argument, so why even bring it up. It isn't drone-related and will get the thread shut down eventually.

Back in the prohibition days, there were "kits" you could buy with explicit instructions on what NOT to do with the kit, otherwise you'd "accidentally" make an alcoholic beverage.

What people should NOT do is buy a drone, not register it, and then fly in areas they shouldn't fly. If they did this, then the government officials would not be able to tell who was flying the drone, even if it was shot down or something.

This thread in focused on flying in a legal manner. If someone were to follow your instructions, and were questioned, they would be operating illegally even in an area that is legal to operate. It would not be a good choice unless your goal is to operate illegally for some reason.

Yet, there could be consequences when law enforcement could have a mandate that does not care about legality. It would probably be sorted out eventually. But they can make it very uncomfortable for you.
