Just scoping the lay of the land for this afternoons flyings, and apart from noting I am between 2 roving groups of paragliders I see there is a drone flight going on as well ! Looking at the rules for who should submit NOTAMs, they seem to indicate it's only worth doing if there are 'more than 5 pilots expected'. But it also says that unmanned vehicles should do them (via CANP app) too if their flights are mid-week, so armed forces etc can be notified. And low and behold, right in the paragliding zone, someone is planning to get a drone up I see...
