Novice mistake

My mini1 needed IMU calibration. Started process and set drone as per image and walked away. Came back later and still at 95% processing 1/5.
After awhile it dawned on me the image had changed and consequently watched as the 5 steps evolved with me changing the position of the drone.
So lesson learnt!
Watch the instructions carefully.
Only two months into droning so many more challenges to come

Really scaring having the drone go so far but managed to hold my nerve!

I did the same thing with my air 2. I was so used to my old phantom 3 standard you just let it set there will it calibrates. Also, on my phantom 3 you are supposed to calibrate compass every time you fly, is that the same with the air 2?

No, not on the compass or IMU. Doing it every few weeks is not a bad idea or after any update - just to be safe.

Spent a few days in Noosa when backpacking in 2010, beautiful place but soooooo expensive. Nice vid by the way.

Your are right. The cost of living here is over the top.
Been a strange 12 months with very few Backpackers around due to the COVID.
