I've been running a K1 Shield for a few weeks on my Mavic and went on a hunt for the flight records. Do a flight, look in the folder structure...no flight records. They exist because the DJI Go 4 app has them, but if I wanted to upload them somewhere, I couldn't find 'em.
Anyway, I been looking for a while and found a thread on the DJI forum and someone confirmed that the files only appear if you power the K1 OFF. I had rebooted a few times to no avail. I'm running 6.0.1. Marshmallow because Nougat was not usable; it kept crashing so I downgraded and everything works great now.
Apparently a power off flushes some cache to disk.
Maybe this is common knowledge to others, it wasn't to me, so maybe this will help someone.
