I just realised the sensors on the fron and back dont work.

I was testing it inside with pretty good light in the room and my brother had a towel and I flew the drone as close as I could untill thr propellers hot the towel, so the sensors dont work.

I
was lucky yesterday when I flew low over the woods and I was relying on the sensors but they never gave any warning, but the one on the bortom of the drone did and said i was 1 m from the trees.

Does the fron and back sensors only work when its good light outside or whst is the problem?

OA requires good lighting
If you want Obstacle Avoidance to be working, check your app settings to see if OA has been disabled.

If OA is switched on and you have the Display Radar Map option enabled, you should see the red OA warnings on screen when you fly just a couple of metres from an obstacle.
No need to fly close enough to hit the obstacle.

Also, confirm that you don't have the controller set to "Sport" mode.

If you're checking the OA system, there's no need to actually contact the obstacle. The system should be triggered at a distance of a meter or more.

Not just good light, but something with contrast. A blanket of snow or anything lacking contrast defeats those sensors I get warnings on almost every flight when I launch into winter time because I’m invariably in an area that is simply surrounded by pure white snow and oddly be warning I get is that there is an insufficient light or something like that implied that it’s too dark but in fact, it’s just too much white everywhere.
