Hi everyone just bought a used mavic pro and I’m hearing a lot about ocusync and the range you get from it. Does this come on all mavic pros or is there something you have to do to get it?

Thanks for the info I have been wanting a mavic for some time now, I have a phantom 3 se and a parrot bebop 2 that I really like but I have heard a lot of good things about the mavic.

hi Dale42110 where are you situated if you are in the states you will get the range as stated by DJI if you are in the UK you will get considerably less range this is due to the signal power of the remote controller, and it is set according to the radio transmitter laws of the country you are in.the main advantages of ocusync are not so much the range, but the stable signal you get compared to normal WIFI as on the ph3 that you have.

I live in the us, I live on the side of a large hill so I think that improves my range as I am over the trees and buildings. But it’s good to know that the mavic will have a more stable signal, I just ordered my mavic so I’m still waiting for it to arrive but I will definitely check my settings and make sure it is set to the USA. Dale you won't have to set it it already will be in FCC and right now I would download the Manuel
and start reading it and in here , watching YT's so you will be ahead already when it arrives .
You have had a Phantom and I have several but this ain't one
