That's insane! With no experience outside of a stock Mavic Pro, what would that setup cost to mimic and how difficult would it be to do? Thanks!
Doesn't cost that much and it's easy to do
2 external batteries £36
Charger £40
18dbi panel I got cheap off eBay for £10
3-4w Amp £20
Battery to power the amp £20

Got up early this morning and got a long distance flight in. The weather wasn’t that great, Heavy fog but a little wind, bird came back all wet.

Was flying in a new area and I punked out and turned around at 65% battery. Ended up landing with 16% battery left in the tank.

Thanks Mick as I think I've got the bug! Might be looking to jump into it this week. Thanks!

My longest distance from home on the Mavic Pro with my own battery without any modifications of the battery and antennas for 24 321 ft or 7413 meters. Wind speed 4 m / s, the field without any interference. I sat down in the same place, since there was 30% of the battery and there was a strong wind. Then I went to pick up the copter with the gps tracker.

With the return to the point of the house, I have the maximum distance from the takeoff point - 5025 meters or 15316 feet:
This is without changing the battery, antennas. If you do not want problems with the return, this is the last point, 15,300 feet or 5,000 meters, then do not fly further. A rating of 26,000 feet is simply abnormal and dangerous.
My 5000 + 5000 meters is in good summer calm weather without wind. if there are gusts you can not return it to takeoff points.

Did you read page 1 of this thread??

Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you are stating.

This is my record. This flight was without modifying the battery and the antenna. And most importantly, without reducing the weight of the Mavic, removing the camera or even some other similar cases for raiting.
Oh yeah, I forgot the most important thing without putting the battery in 0, after which her life is seriously shortened.
I repeat without modifying the stock Mavic from the box, without modifying the software and canceling in the assistant auto landing at 10 percent.

You stated "this is abnormal and dangerous". That is the unofficial charter of those that participate in this thread.

I am still not clear on the purpose of your post. If you have achieved a distance record, state it and it will be recorded.

Nice flight, I wish I had a location near me that I could stay low like that
I love it this old pilot lives there he has became my new buddy. And my house is about 10000' out so I got a nice spot for emergency landing if necessary. used a few time lol
