I have OCD so always do my pre-flight checks, today it paid off in a big way I found one of the prop screws had backed off about half a turn this may never have come all the way out but knowing my luck it would have and I would have had a bad crash, so the moral of the story is do the checks even though they can be a PITA when you are desperate to get the drone up ;)

Excellent advice! There's been a few times when I arrived where I wanted to fly and didn't get to because something was forgotten.

My wife says that I have a screw loose. 😳

Suggestion, try a tiny spot of Hernon128 Blue thread locker or Gorilla Super Glue. Surprisingly useful addition to the OTG toolkit.

"...128 Blue Thread locker – Viscosity 80cP. Fills gaps to 0.004″ (.102mm) Low strength Cyanoacrylate Threadlocker for use on small metal parts and thermoset plastic fasteners. Fixture is about 1 minute and adhesive can be pre or post applied. Any excess adhesive on the surface will cure and will not migrate to the other parts. Nuts N’ Bolts 128 can be used as a low strength thread locker, bonder or tamper proofer for metal, polyester, nylon and many other thermo plastics materials..."

Thanks, to be honest I think loose was a bit of an exaggeration there was resistance as I turned it i believe the screws that come with spare props come with thread lock already on them so I assume the ones already fitted also do, maybe the ecrew had not been tightened in fully and I managed to turn it a bit, I will keep an eye on it it hadn't moved when I checked last night.

You're props are like the tires on your vehicle, my brother-in-law used to warn us about how important it was to check your tires before driving (he was a cross country truck driver). I'm glad you mentioned this as I haven't checked my props in a while Thumbswayup.
