Hello All,

Initially I had it placed towards the front underneath behind my M2P’s camera. But now I’m thinking of placing it at the rear so I know my drone’s moving away from me (daytime). Need everyone’s opinion as to whether the rear placement in this photo would interfere with the obstacle sensors.213D098C-E5F0-4CEF-AD58-81ABAF809208.jpeg

Doh! Totally forgot that I had bought this holder a while back. Maybe this is best to use & place on one of the rear arms?

That's the mount I'm using and it actually works great. I have two white strobes up front, plus one rear red on the port side, and one rear green on the starboard side. If I was running just one white light, I'd probably prefer to have it on the front so if I couldn't readily see the drone, turning it towards me would leave no doubt as to what direction was needed to return home.

Good point, my only reason for mounting at the rear is that the strobe might produce some interference with video or photos being taken.

In full daylight I've never noticed any interference from the twin lights up front since they're both mounted outboard on the front legs.

I regularly have difficulty seeing my drone in strong daylight! I guess these are super bright LED's - far stronger than the stock ones? Do they imbalance the device at all? Thx

Answer to your 1st question is YES, these Firehouse Arc II LED's are much brighter & can be viewed at quite a distance during the day.

2nd question, I'm curious as well, since I only have 1. Will putting this on whichever arm I decide change the flying characteristics of my M2P, or is the weight so minimal that it doesn't affect the M2P at all.

Hey @LoganAir are those the Aerial Pixel holders mounted to Polar Pro leg extensions?

I have the CREE red/green for standard navigation lighting of port/starboard and a single ARCII for the tail. I've been mounting the red/green on the arms but I like yours better. I have the Polar Pro legs too.

Hi Fred Garvin, thanks, and yes they came from Aerial Pixel and fit the Mavic 2 Polar Pro landing gear nicely. I hope Polar Pro eventually comes up with the same landing gear for the MA2.

I had a look at your website...very professional and what an impressive fleet of work toys!

Hi, I have the MA2, I just ordered my brackets, but I too had mounted one Arc II on velcro between the back two sensors, and as long as it was positioned just so, no issues. As the Air2 is a little smaller than the M2P so in theory it should work with less fuss...

Hey thanks, man, appreciate the feedback. Were those Aerial Pixel mounts specifically to fit the Polar Pros? I have AP mounts for all my lights and they're shaped to fit the arms. I'll be happy to buy mounts for the legs though.

Yeah, they sure were. Just look for the Polar Pro option in the drop down selection window.

Waiting on Aerial Pixel mounts and Firehouse (bought some more A2 strobes too)... everything is moving so slow... Fortunately I have enough hats!

Yes they are made or use with PP LG.
Here’s a video (12s).
