Optimal distance for circle quickshot

I've been testing the circle quick shot for Mini 2 because I've been experiencing some drifting and gimbal issues. The Mini 2 will work flawlessly for about 3/4 of the circle then drift/ jerk and sometimes finish pointing away from me. I'm completely in the green box when I start, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it was corrected. If I increase the radius of the circle it doesn't seem to act up.
I've done a gimbal calibration.
