I know that it’s not going to achieve it perfectly. But suppose you want to go up at late dusk and still be able to make out landmarks on the ground... How would you have your camera settings?

Mavic Air 2 features SmartPhoto, which integrates scene recognition, HyperLight, and HDR into one mode for optimal results. Scene recognition optimizes different camera parameters for various scenes and supports intelligent recognition of five categories: sunset, skies, grass, snow, and trees.

I copied the above from the net.

There are a few YouTube videos on how to achieve the best results. Basically, you need to go into manual mode, increase the ISO to 6400, and then adjust the shutter speed down to what looks good to you. HDR mode on the other hand, it can give you some good results, both methods depend greatly on how much ambient light there is on the ground. (like city vs country) Either way, you will get a very noisy image, the sensor is not really big enough for really good night image capture. Rolling back the ISO lower will give better results, its all about how much real light is left in your scene.

It's the same for all cameras, MA2 is no different. Just get as much light into the camera as possible. That means max. aperture, slowest shutter speed and for MA2, no 8k video or 48 MP still.

There is really little you can do for video as the shutter speed is limited by the frame rate. The amount of post processing you can do is limited, as least I can't do much for my M2P's footage.

For still photos, there are a lot more room for making improvements but you will need to do some post-processing. mutiple exposure followed by photo stacking is one of the techniques. It's used in some smartphones for taking low-light pictures : How To Improve Your Long Exposure With Photo Stacking
