Ah, this makes sense, thanks for explaining it. You know, in this time where for almost everything an abbreviation is used, one starts to wonder
I read it somewhere else in this forum about the rectangular shape. Strange that DJI did not make it not rectangular so that it would be impossible to misorient it.

One could guess that DJI got a real deal on these ODD (Obviously Deficient Design) ports so used them to save money (g).
