When trying to take a panorama I get this meaasage that says can't take it aircraft is moving, BUT I only get this message if I use the photo button on the RC if I Tap the white dot on my screen it takes the photo. Anyone else experiencing this? and is there a fix?

NO

The aircraft has to be still in a hover to take a panorama, but you can otherwise take photos while moving, and can take still extracts from video while moving.

I think his point is that pano is a photo mode, much like AEB or HDR. Pushing the logical shutter button or the RC button would take the photo in the mode you have set.
So it is strange one will work and the other not. Perhaps when you press the virtual shutter button on the screen, your hands are off the sticks so it's not moving?

I'll have play with it more myself. I know someone had previously posted a shortcut from video to Pano by pressing the shutter button on the remote while filming video (after previously setting up Pano as your Photo mode), but it didn't work for me. Might be related, if it is actually working for him, but the drone is still moving. I've seen the same message using only the screen buttons switching from Video to a Pano, if I was not already in a hover in video.

I believe it's possible on M2 to get a photo while recording, though the photo resolution will be equivalent to video resolution.

It's just a still frame extract from the video at the moment of pressing the photo button during the video recording, which is better selected in post, to get the sharpest one, but the live one may also act as a place marker reminder, and be good enough to share immediately.
