What's the general opinion about these ?

they dont actually change the signal radiated output of the antennas ,they work by concentrating the signal in one direction ,but the downside of this is that it is even more important to keep the antennas pointed towards the drone at all times,and to be really honest if your AC has occusync then you would be better off not bothering ,it seems to be down to individual taste,whether they offer any benefit or not

I like mine, but keep facing the drone, or the make the signal worse, instead of better.

A refund? Nah. It's actually more useful as a case for various wires and such.
