Flight over Yaguarón River in Paso Centurión (Uruguay-Brazil border) and a small part of Sierra de Ríos. Both places constitute a protected area included in the national system (SNAP). These great biodiversity sites, contain priority species for conservation. The images were filmed at a significant water deficit time, in mid-January 2022.

that's a nice bit of work in what looks like a great place to fly. I presume the two abandoned ruins have an interesting story.

Yes, the ruins are what remains of the customs buildings on both sides of the border.
Many important events in the history of Uruguay and southern Brazil were related to this site.
