Now I just have to wait (at least) 6 months for the new caa rules to become effective and for anyone to release a new CE marked drone.

Was it hard?

It's really up to your knowledge level of the subjects, but if I could give a difficulty value I'd say 6.5 (1 to 10). Anyway, Heliguy has provided a comprehensive course that covers all the topics.

Honestly the Italian licence I got last month (that covers only A1 and A3 categories) has been much much more complex.
