As I said before I have the air 3 S, so I could do the same, but I really want the pro controller to work with M4P, and I'm not prepared to buy it until I know everything will work, without the need find workarounds

I confirm the 4G dongle works perfectly after downgrading the firmware of my Mavic 4 Pro and re-pairing it with RC2 instead of RC Pro 2.

Yes you need to downgrade the drone itself to the fabric version the first fw version.
Rc2 can be updated with the latest FW.
