Every now and again when im flying my Mavic and im flying reasonably fast and let off the sticks it sometimes will go into a compass error for a second or two. Not sure what to think because like I said it doesn't happen that often.

That's going to be because the magnetometer axes change orientation when the aircraft goes into large positive pitch. That is presumably changing the measured magnetic modulus due to one of the magnetometer axes being out of calibration. Since it happens with pitch but not yaw, that ought to rule out the x- and y-axis, meaning the z-axis is wrong. If you pitch the aircraft by hand while looking at the compass sensor screen in settings you should be able to see the numbers go red on one or both compasses.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to correct this?
