Photo and Video File numbering wrap

File numbering for my Mavic Air photo and videos have 4 decimal digits but they are wrapping after three. For example, they go DJI_0998, DJI_0999, DJI_0000, DJ_0001. In my opinion, if they bother to use 4 digits in the created names, they should go DJI_0998, DJI_0999, DJI_1000, DJI_1001. Has everyone also noticed this behavior?

That is correct, there is no way to change it, it is frustrating especially when I'm doing mapping and take thousands of photos. At least they are grouped into a new directory.

Thankful for the search option,
I just noticed this this morning on my Mavic 2 Pro with the Smart controller.
Mine went from DJI_0998, DJI_0999, DJI_0001.
I hope I never have to edit older pics with these newer ones.
