Hi All.
Brought and flew Mavic for first time yesterday. Initially had some issues but calibrated compass and Uni and no Dramas. Can you switch to vid and pics in flight. I did and can't find pictures.

Focusing and all this. Some video is just blurry. Also there is an option to focus on something and fly past with it focused on the target. How and am I being stupid. Live in Iceland so the weather is always against me.

Yes, you can switch from vid to pics in flight. Depending on the level of image quality you are shooting at, you can even capture 'stills' from your video in your editing software as well. I alternate from video to stills routinely while in flight. Not a issue.

If you focus on something about 20 metres away it should be near enough unless you are flying very close.
The low light levels are likely your problem, it records much nicer video if you can catch some nice light.
General advice is to use +1 sharpening custom setting unless things are very contrasty.
