I'm fairly new to the industry and to the forum. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.

I'm 39 yo first drone (MavicAir). First time I flew this thing I was hooked. So much so that I started ground school for my PPL.

Currently located in Phoenix AZ and looking for like minded enthusiasts to get together once in a while and either fly or just have coffee and plan out future adventures.

Greetings Echo1. I’m in Gilbert about Power and Chandler Heights. I had inexpensive drones for a while. Now learning Mavic Pro Platinuum and also Spark. Hopefully there’s enough interest to form a pilot’s group of some kind.

Hi Bill. any spots here locally (within 50 miles) you like to fly? I have a list of city parks that are supposedly drone friendly, but i'm wondering if I can just pick points inbetween the airport circles and just keep it low. I'm mainly looking for maneuvering more than height.

I think getting a group together would be great. I've seen a group on facebook that's semi active but most of those guys are experienced pros. I'm still a bit new and am a tad intimidated when it comes to "bugging them".
Either way, I'm looking forward to getting together in a group.

Hello , Phoenicians, I was in Phoenix last week. Went to Lake Pleasant. Drones not allowed within the park but some very cool spots to fly on the outskirts. Lots of Big Cactus and rock formations.

Hello AL... did you get a chance to fly on or near the Mogollon rim? Not a lot of open area but numerous small lakes amid the largest stand of ponderosa in North America... and the 2-3000 Fot drop off the rim 300 miles long.

No, not familiar with that area ,sounds awesome. I live in CA. Will be back in AZ. in March. Will definitely try to check it out !!

im in the scottsdale area and do quite a bit flying around camelback and carefree areas,i fly phantom 4 pro 2.0 and a mavic pro platinum
