I’m new to this drone life and just got a DJI Mavic Pro. What are some places to fly in Long Island area?

I'm good with that. Going tomorrow Sunday with NY 5 boroughs drone club to Bushwick Inlet Part in Brooklyn near Williamsburg bridge and Manhatten. Flying on water. Great group. Flying 11 to 1pm. Really anyone could come. Can find group on Facebook.

Hey Guys,

Made an impromptu trip to Kings Park Psych earlier today. Was my second ever Flight. Thankfully all went well. Got some high wind velocity warnings after a while but that was about it. I was the only person at the Flying Field.

Hopefully temps continue to improve so we can have a meetup somewhere.
