Planing to buy mavic 4 pro, seek few advice's

Hi to all, I want to buy mavic 4 pro, however have few questions.

How's actual battery doing time wise ?
Can it be connected to any FPV googles ?
Is there a point of buying any combo deal as there is just regular price of items simply just added, no discount for buying more batteries or any other bundle package, is there a point?
What accessories are recommended ?

To answer your questions:
-Battery time: on average, I get about 45-46 minutes of flight time, with the drone moving most of the time, which is more than enough.
- No, it cannot connect to any dji FPV goggles. I also have the Avata 2 with Goggles 3 and it is not recognized.
- I bought the Creator combo for the 512GB built-in storage and H.265 ALL-I codec (I edit using Davinci Resolve Studio on Windows with RTX5090/32G, so no issues), plus the RC Pro 2 remote is by far the best dji remote I've ever used (have experience with dji RC/RC2 and the Phantom 4 Pro+ display remote). Other than that, the supplied carrying bag is rubbish (I wish they provided the bag/backpack that my original Mavic 3 came with) and there are no other extras.
- Get a good carrying case to protect the drone properly, the supplied one is the worst as it does not even have a zipper to properly close and protect the drone from dust. I also got a Neewer ND/PL filter set (great value) and plan to buy the wide angle lens soon.

The M4P cannot use the FPV googles at this time and it is almost always a better deal when buying the combo when compared to buying the base and adding the expensive batteries later. There are not a lot of accessories available for the M4P this time around, maybe about half-dozen aftermarket accessories worth getting IMO. Many of the OEM accessories (wide angle lens, eND) never materialized.

OK so will there be any support for FPV googles for this DJI or they working on it? seems all other support it.
Seems I could connect generic glasses to RC2 pro hdmi output ?
Unfortunately in EU there is no bundle, they just sum up whatever retail price is and thats it, kind of pointless buy bundle.

A bit of a controversial one, but it's the honest truth.

Unless you're making money with the use of your drone, don't bother with the Mavic 4 Pro, for the following reasons:

1. Go for the AIR 3s, which is usually £1,000 - £1,500 cheaper.

2. AIR 3s is fully compatible with the Cellular Dongle 2, for 4G connection without having to roll back FW. The M4P can't without downgrading the FW, and cannot do it all if you have the RC PRO 2.

3. AIR 3s can record between different lenses/zoom without having to stop the recording, and start recording again. The M4P can't.

4. AIR 3s is snappy and feels faster. At take off, and sudden turns, it feels more agile. The M4P definitely feels heavier, and although it eventually catches up to the AIR 3s, the AIR 3s beats it in terms of flying/handling dynamics.

5. The gimball roll is such an unnecessary feature. I used it, I kid you not, 4x times since getting the M4P, and haven't used it since and don't think I will again. Also, on the AIR 3s, you can get a proper wide angle lense, and my goodness what a difference it makes. The M4P sucks *** when it comes to wide angle, especially as it's 28mm and even if you invest in a wide angle lense, you need to remove it and fit it every time, otherwise the gimball can't complete its calibration..like, what the actual f...k?

6. Battery life. I would say, this is where the AIR 3s is at a lloss here, but only just...real world, the AIR 3s will give you 30mins, whereas the M4P will give you closer to 35 - 38mins. Are those extra 5-8mins enough to negate all of the above points. In my opinion, NO. If the AIR 3s was offered, somehow, with the same '51 mins' of battery life as the M4P, it would be a no brainer.

7...Here's where I'm about to contradict myself. Would I go back to an AIR 3s now? Not a chance. I love my new M4P, despite its foibles. However, I will be keeping my eyes peeled for the new AIR 4 once it gets released at some point this year.

Since you're in Ireland, most of Europe should be fine. Others will answers for other regions.

Unless you get a really good deal, give it some serious thought.

I paid £2,000 for a brand new and sealed M4P Creator Combo. Sold the RC Pro 2 for £800, and got a brand new RC2 for £150, so I can use it for 4G flying..essentially, paying £1,350 for a FlyMore combo, with the 512GB version and 240v super fast charger.

And, it's because of that that I decided to go for it, and I am staying with it for at least 12 months.

Would I pay £2,500 to £3,000 (the current going rate) for a new one? Not a chance in hell.

A used one, should set you back around £1,800 to £2,000.

On the other hand, an AIR 3s FlyMore Combo, brand new, will be £1,000 at most. And invest the rest on filters and a 2 year Care Refresh.

eBay. You'd be surprised at some of the deals that are on some times..don't be afraid to just ask a seller if they'd be happy to accept a lower offer.

Guy had it for sale for £2,550 for around 5 weeks. I think he just wanted shot of it at the end to be fair.

Some really good deals on Air 3s FlyMore Combos at the moment.

Plus, if you buy it and you're not happy with it, eBay has your back under the Buyer Protection, and you can return it under Item Not As Described, if it looks like the seller was economical with the truth.

I will say, the M4P Creater is a nice package. I had to decide to upgrade a few months back from the M3P Cine. It is a better drone in many respects. Plus there seems to be a bit frontal lobe damage here in the US from a regulatory side, kind of now or never. One of the nice things, it is an absolute brute when it comes to wind and endurance, aside from a bit more speed. For me the speed is a big plus, since I tend to track moving targets. It is a bit more hefty for packing around. It is bigger as well, so my backpack solutions had to be adjusted. If I have to go more than a few miles, I just take the Mini 5 Pro, it is adequate in lower wind. The RC 2 Pro is defiantly a superior controller, also a bit larger and heavier, worth it. Charger is a good piece of kit, charges rapidly if plugged into mains with the supplied adaptor.

Downsides. The wide is not so wide as the M3P. Better resolution though. The aftermarket supplemental wides are still not so great, tried a few. It is a pain to put them on, since it must start up first. Internal memory for video could be larger. The files are smaller than the M3P Cine ProRes, so kind of a trade off. I mentioned it is heavier and bulkier. Most of the drone type backpacks are like a stiff block on your back. I do use inserts in my Osprey packs (absolutely fabulous packs), but they need to be large, drone needs 4" (11 cm) diameter 11" (28 cm) long. Same issue for the controller.

DJI seems to be moving away from goggle support for non-FPV drones. Even the Goggles 3, nice as they are, come at a steep price and pathetic range (I just sold mine, no point waiting). They drop off quickly if there are any kind of vegetation in the way. My solution is the XReal Pro 2 VR glasses. Easy to use, plug into the USB port and have a use outside the drone. No effect on range either. I also long since gave up on the foam cut drone cases. I use Nanuk cases with the photo dividers. You can change drones, accessories and configurations at will.
