I've got (8) MPP batteries and one of them started doing this strange "light #3" blink directly after a full charge. I noticed it last month and noted in on my logs and it's still doing it. No errors and the #'s look good. The light next to the closest to the On/Off button (I call it #3) blinks 2 x then pauses and blinks 2x and pauses... it does this indefinitely until I power ON the battery and the power it off. It only does this after a charge.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Allen

Hi, that is "an over charge detected"
So your battery is possible out of Ballance and circuit is overcharging a cell trying to bring other cells up to scratch. Or your built in battery circuit is defective.
Check cell status in DJI Go4 app under settings, battery. They should all be within. .3 of each other.
When you take battery of charger and it shows this status, just press, then press/hold to turn battery on then turn it off.
You can also press and hold battery button for more than 5 seconds to reset it.

Thank you sir. I'll dig into it tonight and report back.

I checked the ap and there is exactly .3 variation from lowest to highest. I'll be watching this one closely and logging any changes etc.

Full cycle might rectify it.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm Old School and it's amazing what a careful DEEP CYCLE will do for a LiPo. I know DJI no longer recommends its but this battery is going to get exactly that probably this evening.

One reason why DJI (and this is only my opinion so don't bank on it) is that too many people were pushing their batteries TOO far during the Deep Cycle and ending up with PUFFED LiPo. All of my Phantom and Inspire Batteries get Deep Cycles after approx 20 charge cycles and this battery has 25 so it's going to get one ASAP and we'll see how it goes.

Probably people were doing it too often. Probably only needed if there's a deviation and probably that isn't very often.
