Hi folks,
I have loked all over Youtube and here, but there is just so much to plough through!

What is the best way to do an orbit around an object and take timed images?
Should I use the Go4 POI mode and set the photo images in camera settings to take timed images?
Or would it be better to use say, a Litchi orbit?
Or is there a better alternative?

Hope this isnt too stupid a question! Thanks all!

Litchi will be best for timed images
Go App will b good for Video Orbit.

Heaps of videos on how to's....

Thanks ZX,
most of those are using video rather than stills.... I want to do an orbit (litchi is perfect for this), but in conjunction with taking timed still images, rather than video.
I could always use the new vision orbit in the Go4 app, but I was just wondering if there is a better method.

The POI mode, combined with timed images (Every 2/5/10 seconds), should give you everything you need? You can control the radius of circle, speed of travel, and how often it takes pictures. I can't imagine there any other variables required for a picture orbit. I use the POI function, for hyperlpase videos and it works without issues.

Thanks dkuhne.... I guess you are referring to the POI mode in Go4??? If so, then that was exactly what I meant when I said "the new vision orbit in the Go4 app "... the POI vision mode.
Thanks again, you have confirmed what I was thinking.
