Polar Pro Gimbal Lock Mavic 2

Pgytech has prop restraints. I like them to keep the props close to the body and not swing out when placing in a case or moving the drone around.

Ding, ding, ding those are the ones! I've tried 3 others but these work the best.

The product is a good one and I own and have used it. It will always have a purpose.
That said, after an apparently minor prop impact with tree leaves, M2P kept flying, but on landing had a cracked prop blade. I later discovered that one of the 3 tabs that secure the props had broken off and was loose in the motor housing. It is nuclear when this occurred even though the event above is most likely. I did find it some days/flights later and eventually was able to get it out. Since that time I remove my props before putting the bird in my GPC case and added this checheck to my preflight.

To each their own but back when I purchased my Karma, I swore I'd never remove props again! Hahaha! That said, we probably should check our props once in awhile... I had my Mavic Pro for almost 2 years and never checked them. Eight months now with the M2P and not one check... Hmm... I'll be right back.

Lon et al: Mine arrived today and even at first sight I knew it was a keeper.

Mike is correct, it's made of reinforced nylon and is stiff but slightly bendable.

Perfect fit and I do mean perfect. So snug in fact that it took a couple installs before I could get it on deep enough to close the clasp. Speaking of which, that thing was a bit scary at first, i.e., the perceived force required to snap it in place. But, after those on and offs, the lock snapped easily and securely. As Lon showed in his clip, the lock holds the camera more securely than anything else I've seen including the original. This is truly an example of top-notch engineering, IMHO.

I think that this is at least the sixth gimbal protector I've purchased between two drones but trust me folks, don't waste your money on anything else. Spend the bucks, get this one, you will not regret the expenditure.

Here are a couple photos...

Thanks for the info... I too own several gimble clamps but haven’t been satisfied, and I’m really tired of struggling with that hinged piece in the inside of the stock version.
BTW, and apologies for getting off topic, but I love the skin. How did you do the name on the front arm.

I was surprised, Lon, but not because you were clearly correct but because the darn thing worked so well! I knew it would be a good one thanks to your clip but I didn't know HOW good. Now I do.

Aww shucks... It's the little things. A perfect accessory or a perfect flight that makes this hobby worthwhile.
