It’s called LnyQ, it’s set up to start shipping in June-ish. Looks like it could be another option available to us to select from. I have the other 2 that are recommended by lots of the pilots here, but I wanted to throw another one that could be really great. I believe it’s right at $110 and is able to track up to 2-3 miles. I’m not selling it just trying to let you guys know something else is coming and you may want to look into it or preorder as I did. Best thing is to just not lose our drones, I look at them like I do life Insurance. If I have a tracker and it’s on the drone, I’ll probably never need it. If I have life insurance on my wife and kids I’ll never need, so everyone is covered in my house, I kinda like em where there at right now.

It looks like it's going to be too large to attach to a Mavic.

Would kind of look like a single testicle hanging off my M2,. Like the Idea, maybe get rid of the loop thing and go with a slot for a lanyard (like a gps).

Well I did purchase it and as soon as I get it I’ll post a few pictures of it as well as specs on weight and size. I’ll put it up and down and give it a test run on finding it, maybe a few pictures of what it looks like attached and what options we have to attach it.

I've had five on order since last August. Of course, I have other uses for them too, since I need to keep track of my herding team as well. Yes, the SIZE has me concerned, but I think that they will be seldom needed on the drone, and a velcro connection on the top or bottom should work well.

Jim, this is perfect for keeping up with family or a group of friends at a outdoor concert, or large park like Disney. I could see it being used for a group of back hill skiers or something along those lines. I really don’t think this will be to big for our drones. There are so many options to attach things together these days, once we get them in hand I’m sure we will figure something quick and easy

I’ll just stick with my Marco Polo tracking device and the DroneKeeper Mini 2. They perform well and I think the other device is WAY TOO BIG for the Mavic series.
The whole point of having a small drone is to keep weight down and that looks very heavy and bulky.
Everything has a place and I can see the possibilities for that one but not on my M2P!! ;)

Looking forward to seeing your post about it after you get it.

If it doesn’t work from there do it again from the new location that the 1st instruction took you and it will be in center screen. At least that’s how I had to get there, sorry for run around

This has to be April fool. Very good.

Yup.... I’ll stay with my Marco Polo...... with that LnyQ hanging under the craft do you think it will interfere with downward facing sensors?

Not April fools guys, it’s on a crowdfunding website called indigogo. It’s mostly used for keeping groups together at large venues, like Disney or skiing. I figured hey why not try it on a drone. Attaching it may be interesting but if it works and doesn’t cause interference, I’m all about keeping my drones. I have the Marco Polo and a few others. The price tag is what caught me. Pull it up on the web it’s not a April fools joke, if it was, it’s one of the lamest jokes I’ve ever done.

For people why not use LIFE 360 ?

I wonder if the size and weight could be hugely reduced by stripping the actual guts from that huge housing.

I'll stick to my Trackimo
Works well and mounts nicely in the printed holder I bought on ebay
