Anyone heard of potensic atom drone, similar specs to some djis

I have heard of the company that makes them ( Hong Kong Depus ) and they are indeed an electronics manufacturer. I have never heard of Potensic they look like DJI Clones, I wouldnt spend any money on one.

Just buy a DJI and have it over with, Potensic drones aren't close to what DJI Mini 2SE are

I believe they are smaller competitor, with basically one model (the Atom 2) to compete with the Mini4K. IIRC the main boasting feature of the Atom 2 over the Mini 4K is essentially they have included what Litchi and DronePilot's does for the Mini 2 (e.g. tracking features, spotlight, cruise control etc) into the Atom 2.

I have one. Atom w/gimbal. About the same size as Mini 3 Pro without obstacle avoidance. 4k camera and just a fun little drone to fly. I took it to Mexico about a year ago and got excellent results. Photos not great, but usable as they're a little grainy. Controller is solid and works great with my Samsung S24 Ultra. Support always seems to be releasing updates regularly.

same, but i feel that's where a drone excels, taking videos as it moves to angles you can't access with your own pair of wings.

On another note, I just realized Costco started selling Atom 2 "fly more combo" online for $549 CAD, offering just under 10% off Amazon pricing ($599 CAD with $40 coupon already applied) and an extra 128GB card. Not bad....

I have flown the Potensic Atom 1, it's "fine", better than those cheap aliexpress drones, has decent photos (with RAW capability) and alright 4K video, BUT the signal sucks and wind resistance isn't good.

I've heard that the Potensic 2 is much better and more comparable to the Mini 4K, but I would still 100% choose DJI over Potensic any day.
