Had a close call today. Started off near large field and noticed there are some power lines hanging quite low. Wanted to avoid them and intended to go above them, but did not pay any attention that another line was just above me. My Mavic hit the lines from below, but somehow did not crash. Amazingly it balanced itself again, but was only partially following controls doing large circles itself. Luckily I was able to avoid other obstacles and land on gravel without further damage.
After replacing slightly damaged propeller it was again fully functional even tough bit dusty. I did lose ND filter though. Actually already second one, so I'll have to buy another set again. Too bad it's always same one I manage to distroy.
Lessons learnt: always look up as well!
