well, since i had an air 2s i was disappointed and wondering how on earth DJi removed the night mode on the air 3s, i was so disappointed it the night mode was a DEAL BREAKER for me, folks over here said dji bumped the ISO, but no one said dji actually integrated the noise canceling algorithm in the Air 3s NORMAL mode, and bumped the ISO to 12800 (or sth)... i wish someone shared this with me earlier, i only knew this when Kyle suggested this is the case in the M4PRO and somewhere else on youtube, suggesting both the M4PRO and AIR 3S both got the noise cancellation Algo integrated,

today was my FIRST night time flight,
i must admit while i reduced the sharpness to -2 in the DRONE,
i was SHOCKED on the result i got at 3200 ISO and virtually 0 noise (knock on wood)
adding some sharpness in Premiere Pro, and i immediately sent this video

(gotta admit though youtube codec is a bit on the garbage side an d actual file looks better)

to mom saying i managed to get a M3PRO grade footage from a 1300$ Air 3s !

we never know till we try ourselves i guess...!

th
Looks great thanks for sharing!
thanks a lot for viewing, the air 3s surprised me really !

despite having same sensor size as in the air 2s
but the low light capabilities is entirely on different level !...

who knew we could push ISO 3200 with no noise and a bit of added sharpness in POST (possibly in dji fly app too) i could get quality near the m3pro night mode !...

Wow, that is a really cool video. I guess I should try to make a night video again. I got really spooked when I tried it with my mini 4 pro, I had absolutely no idea where the drone was. I did put strobe lights on it, it logically should be behind some trees, very high trees,, so I was afraid to press RTH. After a while I got the battery notification 😨. When it appeared again, it was about 80 degrees of from where I thought it was. I then decided that night videos weren't good for my health.

same here, i am on the 16th floor on a key location in Dubai, i had this urge to finally step out of my comfort zone and give it a try,

first time i tried to fly fro mthe balcony it was in DAY TIME,

ABSOLUTELY ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD SIZE BALCONY AND CLEARANCE before taking off from the 16th floor lol,

also always take off after updating your home location !

i dont recommend RTH when on balcony, maybe am old school, even with air 3s and so called next gen RTH, i rpefer to do it manually,

FLY SAFE !!....

I have the Air 3s also and have gotten great videos and photos from this drone.
thats funny i was avoiding it, thx to misinformation on the forums etc...
but when i finally had to buy a drone, i simply love the air 3s,,,,

This forum seems to pooh-pooh the Air 3S more than any place else. Seen some incredible photos and video created by this bird. Yeah, moiré is going to be a problem for video with the removal of the low-pass filter.
