Pretty dumb question about using the phone as an rc

I was playing around and seeing how the phone would work as an rc. When I realized that’s not for me and went to use the stock rc, I had to re-link the rc and aircraft.
Is this something I would have to do anytime I were to use the phone as the controller or would this first tome let future swapping be more seamless?

I’ve had to do the same every time as well. Also if you use a different iOS device. Basically, anytime I change control methods, I have to re-link.

I have cycle the power of drone and controller once before you do re-link. It may link the second time . Worth a try. It worked for me once. But yes if you swap back n forth using different screen display, you will need to re link. No all the time ....the MP has a mind of its own ???
