Problems with DJI and UPS

Over a month ago I made the mistake of putting a clone battery in my DJI Mini 2. Sold on Amazon, and guaranteed to work in the Mini 2 (looks like it was made in the same mold). I already had two DJI batteries, but just wanted to make sure this new one worked, despite it acting differently in the DJI charger. I loaded it into the Mini 2, which had been flying well, even after two years in the box. NOTHING. Putting a real DJI battery in after that and it was still dead.
I contacted DJI, and they had me send the Mini 2 to Fort Worth TX. Next thing I know it's in Canada, and they tell me it's a bad board and I have to pay. I paid, and a week later they sent me a replacement. I tracked it with UPS, and it finally ended up a week later in Kentucky in a wherehouse. It's been there for five days now, and now I'm finally told by UPS that it's waiting to be cleared. Why did DJI need to send me a refurbished Mini 2 from Canada (which I believe is causing the delay while it sits day by day in a wherehouse in Louisville), and why am I getting the run-around for two weeks now? I've asked them, but they won't answer.

It's a new world and it's a new process due to unnecessary and unwarranted government intervention and rules/regulations. Everyone is negatively impacted from the common carrier to the manufacturer to the customer. It's impossible to predict how and when and where you get your service because each instance carries a different unpredictable process. It wasn't like this last year so that should answer your question as to why there is so much confusion this year. Plus there is a lot of incompetence going which compounds the issues. Lots of mistakes being made. On top of that, no disrespect to anyone, but no one really cares about anyone else or their property and no one wants to put the effort into fixing something that can easily be broken again. So this is where we are. Sorry you got caught up in this which is more than an inconvenience or a nuisance or time-consuming, it might even be costly.
