Protective shield for display

I suspect that within a short while I'll end up scratching the display one way or another on my new Smart Controller. Also, I find the high gloss display while helping the brightness, the reflections can be annoying at times. In its defense, I tested it today in very bright sunlight (noontime) surrounded by fresh blinding snow cover wearing my quite dark polarized sunglasses. I found that at max brightness, the display showed clearly visible detail without straining my eyes. So, I am very happy with that.

But the scratching does concern me so if I find a protective shield that offers me to even enhance the display (reducing glare etc) I will do just that. I talked to NuShield support for finding a fitting size. The result - Part Number NU308A with DayView coating. Price: $19.80. I just ordered a couple of them today.

I would like a shield like the pgytech one for the regular controller but covers the sticks and the entire screen. We can hope.

OP is spot-on about the NuShield product - been a customer for years. All touch screen toys including DJI SC have it...well, had to return SC because it's not compatible w/ M2E...mine was trimmed down from a spare shield for Garmin moto-navigator...my CS785 has one - does not affect sensitivity of touch function.

If the NU308A product does not have radius'd corners you may find application more forgiving by nipping corners just a little (~ 1mm chamfer), but at that price me thinks it does - easy to do w/laser cutter.

BroTect (a German company you can find on Amazon) sells a variety of screen protectors designed specifically for the SC (matte, tempered glass, etc.) I got a tempered glass one for $10 CAD and it is perfect.

Crystal Sky 5.5" screen protectors also fit.

Careful with re-purposing phone protectors, almost all of them have cutouts for cameras, sensors, notches, etc.

You're welcome! Hope you like it. I have the glass version and I can't even tell it's installed. Getting a perfect install was very easy, easier than most smartphones.

Roger that. Here you go, what I really like is that the fingerprints wipe off very easily as compared to the OE screen.
