About a year I posted a thread about this guy: There's a Youtube channel and Instagram dedicated to harassing homeless people with drones
Normally I'd never even bother with something like this cuz it's the internet and people are gross and what are you gonna do about it but it really pissed me off seeing my favorite hobby perverted like this so I posted about it here and on reddit and reported him on Instagram.
After I made the post on reddit it somehow got back to him and he posted a screencap of it complete with my username to his nearly 700,000 Instagram followers. For the next few days I got inundated with nearly a thousand private messages on reddit which weren't exactly of a pleasant nature. Some of these people must have reported me as a suicide risk cuz I also got an automated message from reddit admins offering help and resources including the suicide hotline number (lol).
A few months later he got banned from Instagram which made me very happy. He had nearly a million followers at that point.
This popped up this morning and I've been smiling about it ever since
A Pueblo real estate developer who made dozens of viral social media videos of drones harassing local unhoused people appears to have violated Federal Aviation Administration regulations more than 200 times and was hit with a $270,000 fine in September.
In October 2022, the Chieftain first reported Henry "Hank" Borunda, owner of the La Bella Union Plaza and several other downtown Pueblo buildings, was provoking unhoused people in Pueblo by flying up to and at times over them to film their reactions, seemingly for comedic effect.
The videos featured on Borunda's "bumsndrones" social media pages, including an X profile that’s categorized as “entertainment and recreation,” have been condemned by homeless advocates and drone pilots, but have also received praise from some followers online.
