Hi
after an engine sieze (RainAlarm is your friend), and issues from a previous bump;
i've decided to retire my current mavic for parts and purchase a new unit.

the current climate has me worried they may be harder to purchase soon aswell.
tho not for lack of units

as far as the Forum goes, it seems the DJI website is the only option?
Please help me out here if im wrong.

also the DJI price of just over 1k! makes me wonder I shouldn't just buy a new Box.
also I heard a rumor it is possible to link two Mavic controllers to the same bird?

T's & O's?

DJI does sell brand new Mavics only on their website here. Buying just a new aircraft is never going to be the best deal price-wise though. Other possible options would be to buy a complete replacement and sell what you don't need or buy a used/refurbished Mavic.

You can find more information about connecting two remote controllers to the same Mavic in the Mavic manual.

Yes you can link to controllers to one at bird

DJI resellers obviously also offer the aircraft only as a product.
Only had one controller when i read the manual, so brain must have prioritised ;)

reseller meaning refurbished?
or do you mean shops certified to stock DJI?

You might also check the "Classifieds" section of the forum (Classifieds). Someone might have a used or refurbished drone for sale.

I get kinda skeptical when i see "only used once" listings
Who could only fly it once? I was giddy with fun first time i flew.

I think a lot of them are "only crashed once", they just escaped cosmetic damage
enough to sell

You just have to be careful of who you buy it from and ask a lot of questions. I bought a Mavic and a P4P from RCGroups and they were both as close to new as you can get and at a good savings. You could ask for the flight logs
