Pushed the joystick right/left and the MavicPro's gimbal moves right/left

When I pushed the left hand joystick right/left and I noticed the MavicPro's gimbal moves right/left as well.........Is it normal?

Yes this is normal , the gimbal adapts to the movement so that the footage is stable. (please correct me if i am wrong )

That is very helpful. Thank you for that as I am a new flyer as well patiently waiting for my MPP.

My gimbal moves just a little right to left when the left joystick is pushed right to left, just like in your movie.

I always assumed if you need to pan sideways more than that you would need to yaw the whole aircraft left or right or your camera's field of view will start to be blocked by the structure of the aircraft.

Yes its normal. You can disable it by turning off synchronous gimbal in the menus. However, for smooth video you want it on.
