Being a newbie here I have been doing some research trying to do thing right before buying my drone and was looking at getting the dji goggles with the kit, but there is no mention of using goggles/ Fpv in cap 1763 of the cap ano.
Question, (may be out of ignorance about goggles) how can you tell if you’ve gone beyond 500m/line of sight if you are wearing them as all you are seeing is the drone eye view?
Having done an online course and studied the latest ano I cannot find any reference to there use, now to me it seems using them in a first person perspective gives you the ability to see if there’s an obstical, or am I wrong.
Throwing this out to you guys hoping someone has the answer ( other than don’t use them lol)

Per FAA regulations, you will have to have a spotter if you use the DJI goggles. If you can’t see the info, your spotter with a second paired device will see the info. They will relay to you.
