Question about downloading video to DJI RC

I thought that one of the features of the latest firmware and DJI Fly app (1.6.8) was enabling transffering the drone video to the RC for viewing. I just updated and attempted to download a video (4k) to the remote and got the error that only 1080P videos were able to be viewed or downloaded. Is this the expected behavior or am I doing something wrong?
