Hello, I just got the mavic . This form answer few problems I had .Thank you.. So my two questions. First I do not need to register the drone with FAA ?
Second I do photography of landscape and wildlife. If I go and sell a photo of sunset from the drone . Do I need the a FAA licences for that ? Can I sell from my webpage?
I understand about weddings and realtors.
Thank you Kevin

If you are just flying for fun then you do not have to register with the FAA. However, if your intent is to profit (sell) any of your video or photographs then you must register your Mavic, and you must obtain a Remote Pilot's Certification from the FAA which means you will have to take the Part 107 test. This is regardless of where or how you are selling your photographs or video. Also be aware that some states, such as here in North Carolina, you must also have a license to fly commercially within the State.
