Question about remote phone clamp

I have a Samsung Note 5 with a rubber phone case. Am I going to have to remove the case to fit in the clamp? I get my MA Wednesday!

It depends on the thickness of your case.

FYI, the rubber pads in the Mavic Air remote controller don't appear to be removable. It looks like they are attached with adhesive.

It is the same dimensions as the Mavic pro remote. You will probably have to remove the case.

Probably you have to remove it. I have a iPhone 7 with a thin case but that won’t work. So yeah...you have to remove the case.

Ya even with my case removed its still a really difficult fit (motorola G4+) I was thinking of taking out the rubber it would fit perfectly without those pads and with the case too. or maybe razor off the rubber.

Put an iPad mini 4 in controller it is a perfect fit
