Question pro2 and 2zoom

Hey guys

I want to know the differences between optical zoom and digital zoom and how this is expressed in video for illustration.
And also i would like to know if the 2pro can zoom in as well ? whats the differences of zoom function between the two drones ?

The M2Zoom has a real optical x2 zoom (24-48mm). The M2Pro has only a software zoom, if any.
Its a bit like the zoom of a DSLR camera vs. that of a mobile phone.
An optical zoom enlarges without loosing quality, it actually "looks closer", whereas a digital zoom feature just enlarges the picture it sees at a given distance.

That is correct.
As to the "x4" zoom, I do not know how it is achieved on the M2Zoom... probably with software interpolation...
