Racing Edition: Screen Goes blank while flying

Just got a pair of Racing Edition Goggles (purchased from a friend). Everything synced up fine, Go4 app did not identify any required update. Took it for its first test flight and I noticed two things.
1. My mavic pro would consistently drift to the left when hovering. (Doe not do when not connected to the goggles)
2. During flight, seems like every 30 seconds or so the screen would go black, and I would have to push the back button in order for it to come back on. When it does it takes a minute to focus on what the drone sees and then off and flying again, but then about 30 seconds later, black screen again.

Mine is doing that and, for the first time I power on the quad -analog-and all I get is a blue screen. For what these things cost I am not impressed.
